Global Events Financial Controller – Remote

About the role

The Global Events Financial Controller will act as the fiscal engine for Tether's Global Events department, overseeing the full financial lifecycle of international events. This remote position requires precision, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to provide real‑time financial clarity to the Events team.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate vendor quotations for events.
• Develop and track budgets, producing reports that give real‑time financial insight.
• Manage the contract signature process.
• Handle invoicing and payment workflows.
• Perform multi‑currency and multi‑company reconciliations.
• Prepare post‑event financial reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in the Events, Travel, or Hospitality industry.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
