Fullstack Software Engineer – AI-powered Internal Platform

About the role

Alan is building an AI‑native platform that powers every employee’s daily workflow. As a Fullstack Software Engineer you will help create the internal tools that enable the company’s radical transparency, async culture, and AI‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Build the AI‑powered internal platform used by all Alan employees for navigation, context retrieval, and action execution.
• Design and ship intelligent agents that automate organizational workflows such as onboarding, knowledge retrieval, performance alignment, and decision support.
• Deploy large language models (LLMs) in production for structured reasoning, agentic task execution, and deep integration with internal tools.
• Define primitives and abstractions that scale AI‑native work across teams and countries.
• Replace generic HRIS, performance review, and IAM tools with opinionated, Alan‑native software.
• Build and scale Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and user lifecycle across 25+ systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, security, and leadership to translate cultural principles into amplifying software.

Required profile

• Proven experience building full‑stack, AI‑enhanced platforms.
• Comfort working in a distributed, async environment with high transparency.
• Ability to turn complex organizational needs into clean, maintainable code.
