Full-Stack PHP Developer (Hybrid, Brussels)

About the role

We are seeking a Full-Stack PHP Developer to join a multidisciplinary team responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving an application that manages evidence and case‑related items. The role is based in Brussels and offers a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse technical requirements and translate business needs into robust solutions.
• Develop and maintain new features using PHP and JavaScript.
• Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance of the application.
• Write and execute unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve software quality.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain technical and deployment documentation.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies and project meetings.

Required profile

• Strong experience with PHP 7.4+ and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in AngularJS, CodeIgniter 3 and Smarty.
• Knowledge of InterSystems Caché / IRIS and SQL.
• Solid background in object‑oriented development and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies.
• Good understanding of development best practices.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.

What we offer

• Start date: ASAP.
• Fixed‑term assignment until 31 December 2026 with possible extension.
