Frontend Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join Qargo’s growing team in Ghent. You will help shape the user experience of our cloud‑based Transport Management Platform, which powers logistics operations across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain rich web interfaces using React and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers and designers to translate logistics requirements into intuitive UI components.
• Implement drag‑and‑drop planning screens, interactive maps and custom document editors.
• Optimize performance and ensure responsiveness for thousands of daily users.
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and uphold best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to make pragmatic technical trade‑offs.
