Front Office Agent

About the role

The Front Office Agent is responsible for delivering professional care to hotel guests, ensuring a warm welcome at check‑in and a genuine farewell at departure. The role combines guest interaction with essential administrative duties in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Looking after guests, including check‑in and check‑out.
• Reviewing and processing bookings, overbookings and options.
• Handling invoicing, managing payments, cash transactions and cash‑up procedures.
• Performing organisational and administrative tasks in front and back office, such as managing no‑shows and answering emails.
• Collaborating with multicultural teams to gain inter‑departmental insights.

Required profile

• Completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade or relevant professional experience in the hotel/catering industry, or a career‑change candidate.
• Strong sense of quality, service orientation and passion for the hotel industry.
• Excellent communication skills and solid command of English.
• Team player willing to assist across departments.

• Basic cash handling and invoicing knowledge.
