Freelance IT Support Engineer – On‑site in Brussels

About the role

We are seeking an experienced freelance IT Support Engineer to provide on‑site assistance at a customer location in Brussels. The role involves 1–2 days per week of hands‑on support for a long‑term project lasting up to five years.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑ and second‑level support for end users in Windows client environments, MS Office, and standard applications.
• Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) and resolve hardware‑related issues.
• Maintain conference and meeting‑room technologies.
• Coordinate hardware repairs with external service providers.
• Assist with device staging, deployments, and asset management.
• Provide on‑site assistance for server and network topics when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field service, hardware or software support.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident analysis skills in Windows environments.
• Basic knowledge of networking and server technologies (cabling, system restarts, patching).
• Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus.
• Based in Brussels or willing to travel regularly.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
