Financial Officer – IT Logistics Unit

About the role

The IT Logistics Unit (ITLOG) of the Directorate for Customers and Digital Workplace is seeking a dynamic, service‑oriented Financial Officer to support budget planning, procurement, contract management and financial reporting for its IT equipment and services portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the unit’s budget.
• Ensure accurate financial follow‑up of commitments, payments and budget execution.
• Contribute to procurement procedures, including preparation of tender and contractual documentation.
• Manage and monitor contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual and financial obligations.
• Produce financial analyses, reports and management information to support decision‑making.
• Monitor expenditure, identify risks, trends and optimisation opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls.
• Liaise with internal services, contractors and other stakeholders on financial and contractual matters.

Required profile

• Proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent organisational skills and a structured approach to work.
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial monitoring, procurement and contract management.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities, capable of interpreting financial data.
• Service‑oriented mindset, attention to detail and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Very good command of English or French, both oral and written.
