Financial Controller – AI Trainer (Freelance, 8‑20 hrs/week)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to help improve AI systems that generate financial content. Working 8‑20 hours per week, you will review and refine AI‑generated responses to ensure they meet real‑world finance and controlling standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and refine AI‑generated answers related to finance, accounting, and controlling.
• Evaluate outputs for financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
• Draft realistic financial scenarios such as reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and compliance tasks.
• Assess AI reasoning in financial analysis, process optimisation, risk assessment, and decision support.
• Identify gaps, misinterpretations, or unrealistic assumptions in AI outputs.
• Create scenario variations from different stakeholder perspectives (e.g., finance manager, executive team, auditor).

Required profile

• Finance professional, controller, accounting specialist, or similar.
• Based in the EU or UK.
• Several years of experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis.
• Comfortable identifying methodological flaws and compliance concerns.
• Available 8 to 20 hours per week and able to start within weeks.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
