Finance Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Consultant to join our growing consulting team in Brussels. The role involves supporting SMEs to large corporations with accounting, reporting, controlling and finance transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting processes including AP, AR, bank reconciliation and general ledger.
• Prepare periodic closing, payroll booking and reconciliation.
• Produce financial reports, dashboards and presentations for C‑level stakeholders.
• Assist clients during financial, tax or internal audits as needed.
• Participate in finance transformation initiatives and automate accounting/FP&A workflows.

Required profile

• At least one successful experience in finance, accounting, controlling or FP&A (experience in a Big 4 firm is a plus).
• Fluent communication in French and English; Dutch is an advantage.
• Work permit for Belgium.
• Strong client‑facing attitude and ability to work with CEOs and senior managers.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• ERP systems (experience with Odoo is a strong asset).
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.
