Finance Accountant

About the role

Paulig, an international food and beverage company, is looking for a Finance Accountant to support its finance operations in Belgium and help improve financial processes across several entities of the Paulig Group. The position is based in Roeselare, reports to the local Finance Manager and joins a team spread across European locations.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record invoices for goods and services
• Ensure accurate supplier administration
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing for several Paulig Group entities
• Prepare tax and other declarations, including VAT, corporate income tax and Intrastat reporting
• Support the annual audit process
• Contribute to optimising financial processes and support the implementation of new financial systems and tools

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Structured way of working and strong attention to detail
• Hands-on approach and ability to take ownership of tasks and projects
• Fluent Dutch and English, written and spoken; knowledge of French is an asset

• Advanced Excel
• ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX or M3
