Employment Tax Consultant

About the role

Join a diverse team of tax, international mobility and reward specialists to deliver high‑quality tax and reward advice to multinational and local clients. You will work on complex employment tax matters, supporting both national and cross‑border projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑depth advice on employment tax, executive compensation, equity incentives, remuneration structuring and related legal compliance.
• Support clients on international mobility, compensation & benefits, author rights, investment plans and tax rulings.
• Coordinate tax solutions on a global or regional level and integrate multidisciplinary HR and reward services.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders such as Tax, HR, payroll, global mobility and senior executives.
• Own day‑to‑day deliverables, conduct professional client meetings and ensure project execution follows agreed specifications and Deloitte quality standards.
• Supervise, coach and develop junior team members, fostering high‑performing teams.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in employment tax as a consultant, advisor or lawyer.
• Master’s degree; postgraduate tax qualification is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French with excellent communication skills.
• Client‑service mindset, proactive expectation management and strong planning/project‑management abilities.
• Resilient under pressure, hands‑on, enthusiastic, flexible and eager to solve complex international tax queries.
