Embedded Software Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leading automotive player, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join a highly technical team working on critical systems. You will contribute to innovative projects that deliver advanced software solutions from sensor to cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Specify, design, develop, and document embedded software functionalities.
• Develop new software components and maintain existing products.
• Collaborate with the Verification & Validation team to define test specifications and write test cases.
• Work closely with system and application software teams to solve complex technical challenges.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving software‑related issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and technical solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software systems.
• Experience with AUTOSAR configuration and automotive development standards such as ASPICE.
• Good grasp of software architecture principles and experience in Agile environments.
