About the role

We are looking for a Director of Sales & Distribution to lead and own our global commercial activity. In this senior leadership position you will shape the sales strategy, oversee direct sales, manage a worldwide distributor network, coordinate field representation, and turn market feedback into actionable product improvements. The role is focused on strategic ownership rather than day‑to‑day execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global sales and distribution strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
• Drive direct sales initiatives and expand revenue streams across multiple regions.
• Build, manage, and optimise relationships with distributor partners worldwide.
• Lead field representation teams to ensure strong market presence and customer engagement.
• Gather, analyse, and communicate market and customer insights to product and development teams.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations to align commercial activities with overall business goals.
• Mentor, coach, and grow the sales organization to achieve and exceed targets.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in sales or commercial functions, preferably within the events industry.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage distributor networks on a global scale.
• Track record of translating strategic vision into measurable business results.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Self‑starter attitude with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
