DevOps Patch Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a leading Belgian organisation to find an experienced DevOps Patch Engineer. You will own the automation, orchestration and governance of patch management across endpoint, server, cloud and application environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated patch deployment, testing and validation.
• Develop advanced PowerShell automation for patch deployment and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies, code reviews and GitHub Actions workflows.
• Coordinate patch deployments across enterprise applications such as SWIFT, Power BI, Blue Prism and Dynatrace.
• Implement rollback and recovery processes to standardise deployments.
• Produce compliance and security reporting using Microsoft Sentinel and Dynatrace.
• Promote DevSecOps best practices and drive continuous improvement in patch and vulnerability management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in patch management and vulnerability remediation at enterprise scale.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills with reusable libraries or modules.
• Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines and authoring GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience working in a regulated, security‑focused financial services environment.
