DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Brussels on a hybrid basis. You will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and securing a high‑availability HashiCorp Vault Enterprise environment while supporting integration with critical IT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain, and secure HashiCorp Vault Enterprise in a high‑availability configuration.
• Perform upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and ensure business continuity for the Vault platform.
• Support onboarding of secrets and integrate Vault with Microsoft Active Directory, monitoring tools, SIEM, and backup solutions.
• Automate provisioning and configuration tasks using Terraform and Ansible.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation and keep documentation and runbooks up to date.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented, autonomous and security‑focused.
• Collaborative mindset, able to work with internal and external teams.
• Flexible and available for hybrid work and on‑call duties.

Required skills

• 1+ year experience with HashiCorp Vault Enterprise (installation, HA, troubleshooting, hardening).
• Knowledge of high availability, resilience and security best practices.
• Fluent English.
• Terraform.
• Ansible.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with DevSecOps/CI‑CD pipelines.
• Integration experience with Microsoft Active Directory, monitoring, SIEM and backup systems.
