DevOps Engineer – Contractor (Belgium)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a contractor position in Belgium. The role focuses on maintaining and improving production‑grade platforms in a complex technical environment, with a strong emphasis on reliability and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitOps principles.
• Deploy, monitor and optimise Kubernetes and/or OpenShift clusters.
• Maintain Linux‑based infrastructure and ensure its security and performance.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and drive root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate workflows and improve platform stability.
• Apply networking and security best practices across all environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong production mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Kubernetes (or OpenShift) expertise.
• Solid Linux administration experience.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools and GitOps workflows.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Security fundamentals and troubleshooting skills in production environments.
