Designer LA&S Calculations Engineer

About the role

The Designer LA&S Calculations Engineer will create and detail lattice structures for high‑voltage electrical infrastructure (380 kV down to 36 kV). Working under the guidance of a design engineer, you will support projects that span transmission lines and related steel structures.

Key responsibilities

• Draw new lattice structures and develop reinforcement plans for high‑voltage line projects.
• Prepare complete production dossiers and technical documentation.
• Support suppliers and internal teams in solving execution issues.
• Report progress and findings to experts, managers and internal clients.
• Utilise 3D design tools such as Tekla Structures and/or AutoCAD together with Excel for calculations.

Required profile

• Fundamental understanding of 3D modelling concepts.
• Basic education or proven experience as a draftsman, with mandatory experience in Tekla Structures.
• Attention to detail and a critical self‑control mindset.
• Experience in the steel sector is a plus.
• Native Dutch and/or French; additional language skills are advantageous.
