Cybersecurity Intern

About the role

Keysight is seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Intern to support a micro‑cloud infrastructure used for 5G/6G research and security experimentation. You will ensure the platform runs smoothly for researchers while contributing to the design and automation of new cybersecurity test cases.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the micro‑cloud environment, guaranteeing VM availability and service reliability.
• Onboard users, manage access controls, and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Design and deploy cybersecurity testbeds tailored to specific 5G/6G threat scenarios.
• Propose and implement automated or semi‑automated security test cases aligned with standards such as NIST, ETSI, and 3GPP.
• Learn and use open‑source tools (Open5GS, srsRAN, Nmap, Ettercap) and Keysight proprietary platforms (IoT Security Assessment, CyPerf, BreakingPoint, LoadCore).

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Strong interest in network security, 5G/6G technologies, and cloud‑based test environments.
