Cybersecurity Consultant – SOC

About the role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our SOC team at a fast‑growing cybersecurity consultancy. The role focuses on analysing security incidents, assessing threats and translating Microsoft security insights into actionable tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and document SOC tickets, coordinating appropriate response actions.
• Conduct threat impact assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
• Translate Microsoft 365 Secure Score and Defender insights into proactive security tasks.
• Contribute to SOC development through sprint work and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of risk, privacy and compliance principles.
• Fluent in English and/or Dutch.
• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or a related field is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as SC‑200, CompTIA or BLT are a plus.

Required skills

• XDR platforms.
• SIEM tools.
• Microsoft Security stack (including M365 Secure Score and Defender).
