Cybersecurity Consultant – Financial Services

About the role

Capco is seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to join its ICT Risk team, supporting leading banks and insurers in protecting their digital assets. The role focuses on delivering strategic advisory, building cybersecurity programs, and enhancing security operations for financial services clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and advise clients on cyber risk, regulatory requirements and best‑practice security frameworks.
• Design, implement and continuously improve cybersecurity programs tailored to financial institutions.
• Support security operations, incident response and threat‑intelligence activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into digital transformation projects.
• Produce clear reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong interest in financial services and a passion for staying ahead of cyber threats.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk assessment methodologies and security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Experience with security operations, incident handling and threat monitoring.
