Cyber Security Specialist – Implementer (Hybrid, Brussels)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Implementer to join a high‑profile public sector environment in Brussels. This senior‑level, hybrid position focuses on designing, deploying and maintaining modern security solutions across containerised infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, test and maintain cyber‑security solutions.
• Integrate and operate security services across infrastructure environments.
• Securely configure systems, services and applications.
• Monitor performance and effectiveness of security controls.
• Support users and stakeholders on security‑related topics.
• Perform patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams on security initiatives.
• Document, report and communicate all security activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of overall experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years hands‑on experience with container‑based security tooling.
• Strong experience with Docker, Swarm and/or Kubernetes.
• Proven knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub) and secure release processes.
• Solid scripting ability in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience building automation workflows using no‑code/low‑code tools such as Tines, n8n or Zapier.

What we offer

• Hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) in Brussels.
• Fixed‑term 3‑year contract.
• Daily rate of €750.
