Controller – Benelux Finance & Operations

About the role

AluK is seeking a Controller to join its Benelux finance and operations team in Hamme. You will support the CFO and Managing Director, ensuring smooth financial processes and providing insights that drive business performance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monthly closing, quarterly reporting, annual accounts and group reporting.
• Support legal reporting tasks such as VAT and Intrastat.
• Manage treasury activities including cash management, factoring, bank account oversight and credit control.
• Conduct business controlling activities: analyse sales performance, order intake, pricing, production KPIs and cost structures.
• Prepare financial statements, forecasts, budgets and narrative reports for monthly, quarterly and annual results.
• Participate in finance‑related projects and contribute to FP&A processes and business reviews.

Required profile

• Experience as a Controller, preferably in a production environment.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Fluent in Dutch, proficient in English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP (SAP4Hana) is a plus.
