Contract Lawyer (Remote, Belgium)

About the role

Moritz is seeking experienced contract lawyers to join its independent attorney network, providing high‑quality commercial legal services to technology companies on a project basis. This fully remote, contractor position allows you to choose assignments that match your expertise and manage your own schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and redline SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, data‑processing agreements and other commercial documents.
• Advise clients on contract terms, risk exposure and negotiation strategies.
• Deliver precise, high‑quality legal work with fast turnaround times.

Required profile

• Licensed avocat/advocaat admitted to the Belgian Bar and in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience focusing on commercial contracts.
• Background in a top‑tier law firm or in‑house counsel role at a technology company.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance.

Required skills

• Drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Knowledge of SaaS, vendor, supplier, NDA and data‑processing contracts.
