Construction Contract Manager

About the role

Jan De Nul Group is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee contractual aspects of its diverse construction projects. You will work closely with internal departments and site teams to ensure contracts are managed efficiently and disputes are avoided or resolved promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and compile supporting documentation for cost and delay claims in collaboration with Estimating and Planning.
• Support project sites in maintaining contractual compliance with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Serve as the primary contact for all contract‑related matters for internal and external stakeholders.
• Archive all contractual correspondence and documentation consistently.
• Establish and monitor compliance processes, identifying and addressing non‑compliance.
• Draft letters, claims, and develop solutions to prevent and resolve disputes.
• Provide input for the successful handling of disputes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law, Civil/Industrial Engineering, or Commercial Engineering.
• Solid understanding of construction law and experience in both private and public sectors.
• Minimum 5 years of contract management experience with proven negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in Dutch; good command of English and French.
