Communication Officer – EU Policy & Climate Resilience

About the role

ICF Next is seeking a Communication Officer to join its intramuros team supporting a key EU client. You will help shape and deliver strategic communication campaigns focused on climate resilience and adaptation, working closely with institutional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and edit high‑quality materials such as concept notes, strategies, briefings, speeches, presentations and lines‑to‑take.
• Create content for internal and external channels, including articles, website copy and social media posts.
• Maintain and update website pages, event pages and other online content.
• Support the organisation of online and hybrid events, workshops and meetings.
• Contribute to daily press reviews using internal monitoring tools.
• Assist with stakeholder coordination and outreach activities.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in communications, media or digital projects at an international level.
• Previous experience with EU institutions or agencies is a strong asset.

Required skills

• Strong writing and content production abilities for policy, digital and social media contexts.
• Project management capability to deliver high‑quality outputs independently.
• Organised, proactive and problem‑solving mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
