CAR-T Production Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a driven CAR‑T Production Supervisor to lead our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in Ghent. You will be the central figure ensuring smooth, compliant, and high‑quality production of advanced therapy medicinal products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise operational teams across the CAR‑T production process.
• Manage quality and ensure strict compliance with cGMP standards, acting as a key contact during GMP inspections.
• Serve as the first point of contact for production issues and collaborate with cross‑functional departments to resolve them.
• Oversee documentation, including procedures, work instructions, logs, and transfer forms.
• Supervise the release and review of batch records for quality control.
• Ensure team members receive appropriate training and development.
• Drive operational excellence projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, bio‑engineering, pharmacy or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a GMP or ATMP environment, preferably in biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and clean‑room operations.
• Experience with aseptic GMP production (nice to have).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Electronic Batch Record (EBR) systems.
