C# Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

This is a remote, hourly contractor position where you will lead quality assurance for C# AI training projects. You will evaluate AI‑generated C# code and trainer output, ensure adherence to project guidelines, and provide clear, written feedback to maintain high standards of correctness, performance, security, and readability.

Key responsibilities

• Spot‑check C# items, identify quality issues, and give feedback via direct messages.
• Escalate recurring problems and maintain style guides, trackers, FAQs, and onboarding materials.
• Oversee trainer and reviewer performance, calibrate tasks, and ensure rubric compliance.
• Document quality metrics, create calibration tasks, and support continuous improvement of the expert network.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong command of English for clear technical communication.
• 3+ years of professional C#/.NET development, backend engineering, or code review experience.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, reviewers, or QA engineers is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• C# and .NET runtime knowledge (OOP, LINQ, generics, async/await, dependency injection, nullable reference types, records, delegates/events).
• ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core.
• Testing frameworks: xUnit, NUnit, MSTest.
• IDE tools: Visual Studio, Rider.
• Package management: NuGet.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS.
• Containerization: Docker.
• Version control and CI/CD: GitHub, continuous integration pipelines.
• Logging and observability tools.
