About the role
ING is looking for a Business Development Manager to expand its B2C e‑commerce ecosystem. You will identify, engage and onboard merchants onto ING’s proprietary platform, helping both the bank and partners grow revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and prospect B2C companies and brands that match the platform’s value proposition.
- Own the full partnership lifecycle: outreach, discovery, pitching, negotiation, onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
- Develop compelling business cases that demonstrate commercial and strategic benefits for partners.
- Guide partners through a smooth onboarding process and ensure seamless integration into the e‑commerce ecosystem.
- Collaborate with internal product, marketing and operations teams to set partners up for success.
- Educate partners on how the platform can increase reach, improve conversion and unlock new revenue streams.
Required profile
- Commercially driven with proven experience in B2C partnership acquisition.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build long‑term, value‑based relationships with brands and merchants.
- Understanding of e‑commerce dynamics and retail digitalisation.
