Business Development Manager Beyond Hospital Care Benelux

About the role

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is looking for a Business Development Manager for its Beyond Hospital Care Benelux team. The role accelerates growth in the Home Care and Community Care market in Belgium and the Netherlands by building strategic partnerships with home care organisations, integrated care networks, healthcare providers, distributors and purchasing groups. The position is based in Erembodegem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for key Home Care customers across Belgium and the Netherlands.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities in Home Care, Long-Term Care, Community Care and Hospital-at-Home settings.
• Build relationships with executive, clinical, procurement and operational stakeholders.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract discussions and tender opportunities.
• Promote BD solutions through value-based and solution-selling approaches.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Clinical, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Pricing and Business Unit teams.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and forecast using Salesforce and the BD Way of Selling.
• Monitor healthcare tenders, procurement processes, market developments, competition and policy changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or a related field.
• Confirmed senior experience in Key Account Management, Strategic Sales or Business Development.
• Proven track record in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals or healthcare services.
• Dutch and English; French is a strong asset.

Required skills

• Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and stakeholder leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a sophisticated, cross-functional environment.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.
