Business Development Director – Data Centre Division

About the role

PM Group is launching a dedicated Data Centre Division and seeks a Business Development Director to lead growth across Europe. You will be responsible for expanding the client base, securing new projects, and positioning the firm as a trusted partner in the fast‑evolving data centre market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and win new business opportunities within the data centre sector.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to increase revenue and market share.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Lead bid preparation, tender submissions and contract negotiations.
• Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies.
• Represent PM Group at industry events, conferences and networking forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• Proven track record in business development within data centre, engineering consultancy or construction sectors.
• Established network in the European data centre market.
• Strong understanding of data centre design, construction and operational requirements.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel as required.
