Business Controller

About the role

Join PwC Belgium’s internal finance team as a Business Controller. You will support the full finance function, turning data into actionable insights that drive the firm’s financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate monthly financial reports, dashboards and standard reporting packs.
• Analyse cost and revenue trends, budget and forecast variances, and key performance indicators.
• Support budgeting and forecasting by gathering data, validating assumptions and producing detailed analyses.
• Investigate financial results, explain variances and identify business and cost drivers.
• Maintain and improve reporting templates, data‑quality controls and automate recurring reports.
• Develop Power BI reports and contribute to further automation of analyses.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues and other internal teams to collect and reconcile financial data.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analyses and reporting on request.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Initial experience in controlling, accounting, auditing or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a finance environment.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
