Business Controller (Revenue Focus)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Controller with a strong revenue focus to own revenue planning, forecasting and performance analysis across our commercial portfolio. The role sits within the Finance & Business Operations team and acts as the financial business partner to commercial leadership, turning contract and pipeline data into robust forecasts and decision‑grade insights.

Key responsibilities

• Own the revenue side of the annual budget and rolling forecast, building driver‑based forecasts from contract data, pipeline and transaction trends.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis versus budget and prior periods, translating financial outcomes into clear narratives for leadership.
• Develop and maintain financial models that support pricing, discount frameworks, customer cohort analysis and scenario testing.
• Evaluate the financial impact of new pricing models, contract structures and go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Safeguard end‑to‑end revenue data integrity, from contract and pricing setup in billing and ERP systems to recognized revenue and accounts receivable.
• Drive month‑end close activities related to revenue, deferred revenue and A/R, ensuring correct application of revenue recognition principles.
• Partner with commercial leaders to provide insights that shape commercial strategy.

Required profile

• Strong analytical rigor combined with commercial judgement.
• Experience in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting.
• Good understanding of revenue recognition principles and ERP/billing systems.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
