Business Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Business Controller with a strong focus on revenue to own revenue planning, forecasting and performance analysis across our commercial portfolio. The role sits within the Finance & Business Operations team and acts as the financial business partner to commercial leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own the revenue side of the annual budget and rolling forecast, building driver‑based forecasts from contract, pipeline and transaction data.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis versus budget and prior periods and translate results into clear narratives for leadership.
• Develop and maintain financial models that support pricing, discount frameworks, customer cohort analysis and scenario planning.
• Evaluate financial impact of new pricing models, contract structures and go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Safeguard end‑to‑end revenue data integrity, from contract setup in billing and ERP systems to recognized revenue and accounts receivable.
• Ensure correct application of revenue recognition principles and drive month‑end close activities related to revenue, deferred revenue and A/R.
• Partner with commercial leaders to provide decision‑grade insights and support strategic discussions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical rigor combined with commercial judgement.
• Experience in revenue planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership.
