Business Analyst / Controller

About the role

As a Business Analyst / Controller in the Manufacturing Planning department, you will support the translation of company strategy into annual budgets and ensure accurate financial follow‑up of production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct monthly follow‑up of the annual budget and production process.
• Prepare and calculate the P&L based on the production plan, including material, labour, energy, expenses, investments and supply costs.
• Participate in the monthly closing process and analyse plan versus actual results.
• Monitor stock levels, assess requirements and defective stocks to minimise working capital costs.
• Support cost calculation for new products and track profitability of product launches.
• Contribute to strategic projects by evaluating financial feasibility of innovation proposals and process changes.
• Report on compliance matters such as quarterly financial audits and F‑gas legislation.
• Assist in the digitisation of financial processes, including the rollout of PowerBI reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Business Engineering, Business Economics, TEW or similar.
• Up to 5 years of experience as a business analyst, controller, or in an analytical role within a production environment.
• Strong interest in working in a manufacturing setting.
• Detail‑oriented, able to keep a helicopter view while digging into numbers.
• Excellent communication skills, team player and capable of working independently.
• Result‑driven with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
