Bid & Commercial Manager

About the role

The Bid & Commercial Manager will lead end‑to‑end tender processes for public procurements and complex private deals across bpost and its Bnode group entities. Working within the Deal & Pricing Excellence cluster, you will combine rigorous compliance with commercial creativity to maximise win rates on high‑value opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of assigned tenders – from opportunity identification, qualification and preparation to submission and contract award.
• Ensure every submission complies with Belgian and European public procurement legislation, evaluation criteria and internal governance policies.
• Coordinate internal contributors across multiple Bnode entities (e.g., Speos, Euro‑Sprinters, Dyna, Landmark Global, Radial, Staci) to gather required documentation and certifications.
• Develop commercially compelling propositions, supporting pricing strategy, deal structuring and value‑based storytelling.
• Analyse client needs and evaluation criteria to shape responses that score highest on the most relevant factors.
• Contribute to the commercial excellence of strategic private deals by applying bid‑management discipline and structured coordination.

Required profile

• Proven experience in bid management, public procurement or commercial negotiations within a logistics, transport or related sector.
• Strong understanding of Belgian and EU public procurement rules and evaluation processes.
• Ability to work across multiple business units and languages, coordinating diverse internal stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to translate complex commercial concepts into clear, winning proposals.
