BI / Data Analyst – Power BI, Tableau, Data Visualization

About the role

Infogene Belgium is seeking a BI / Data Analyst to turn data into actionable insights that support decision‑making and improve operational performance. You will work on digital transformation projects for clients in Energy, Life Sciences and Industrial sectors, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Understand business needs and translate them into reporting and data solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports and KPIs for business users.
• Collect, clean and consolidate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, risks and performance‑improvement areas.
• Collaborate with Business Stakeholders, Data Engineers, Project Managers and Solution Architects to deliver valuable insights.
• Support data‑governance initiatives by promoting data quality, consistency and best practices.
• Communicate findings and recommendations through clear visualisations and business‑oriented presentations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting frameworks, analytical models and decision‑support tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis or reporting projects.
• Strong experience with reporting, dashboarding and data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Good understanding of data modelling, data quality and business performance measurement.
• Comfortable working in collaborative and agile environments.
• Professional proficiency in English; French and/or Dutch are a plus.
