Backend Engineer

About the role

Deliverect is looking for a Backend Engineer to join its Product Department. You will help develop and maintain the core services that power our API‑first platform, enabling seamless order management and integrations for thousands of restaurants worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Build API integrations for national and global POS systems and delivery applications.
• Design algorithms to process and generate reports from millions of products and orders.
• Create Machine‑to‑Machine (M2M) authorization mechanisms.
• Anticipate and prevent performance issues by thinking at scale.
• Develop core product features that improve the platform.
• Mentor junior developers and guide their work.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain coverage.
• Support other teams and communicate daily with product owners, customer success, and technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience building API integrations for POS or delivery systems.
• Ability to design algorithms for large‑scale data processing.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Experience mentoring developers and conducting code reviews.
