Azure Cloud Engineer – Build & Automate Cloud Solutions

About the role

As an Azure Cloud Engineer at Splendit you will design, implement and manage secure, scalable Azure environments. You will combine strong infrastructure knowledge with cloud expertise to deliver reliable, efficient and future‑proof platforms for modern IT projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain Azure infrastructure, including VMs, networks, storage and identity services.
• Manage hybrid and cloud‑native environments, implementing backup, monitoring and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Automate provisioning and operations using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
• Develop scripts with PowerShell, Azure CLI or Python to streamline routine tasks.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, ensuring high availability, performance, security and cost efficiency.
• Apply cloud governance and security best practices and contribute to migration and modernization initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and related services.
• Solid understanding of networking, identity, security and virtualization concepts.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation, preferably with PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a strong plus.
