Autoclave Operator – High‑Tech Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an Autoclave Operator to join our Lummen site, where we manufacture high‑tech composite assemblies for aircraft and space programmes. After comprehensive in‑company training you will master the full production process and ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Start up and monitor the autoclave and the overall production process.
• Connect electrical and pneumatic components.
• Prepare moulds and remove finished parts.
• Perform quality checks throughout production.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
• Resolve first‑line technical issues and follow prescribed procedures.
• Assist with computer and technical malfunctions.
• Work alternating early and late shifts.
• Contribute to ISO 14001 environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as a process/operator in a production environment.
• Valid forklift and overhead crane operating certificates.
• Ability to work independently and stay calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work as part of a team and adapt to shift patterns.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on quality.
• Willingness to undergo training to master the production process.
