Audit & Assurance Professional – Start Sep 2026

About the role

Join Deloitte as an Audit & Assurance Professional and embark on a three‑year learning journey across a wide range of industries and clients. You will deepen your expertise in audit services and have the option to expand into assurance areas such as ESG, M&A transactions, financial reporting, internal control and data analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client business processes, identify risks and recommend control improvements.
• Review year‑end financial statements and assess compliance with IFRS and other reporting standards.
• Participate in assurance projects covering ESG reporting, M&A transaction assurance, and internal financial controls.
• Collaborate with multicultural teams on‑site, at client locations and potentially in other countries through internal mobility.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with a strong academic record.
• Excellent analytical mindset and professional skepticism.
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to engage with clients.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience or interest in ESG assurance.
• Understanding of M&A transaction assurance.
• Financial reporting and internal control concepts.
• Data analytics fundamentals.
