Associate – Energy & Environmental Lawyer

About the role

We are looking for an Associate specialized in Energy and Environmental Law to join our growing Brussels team. The position offers immediate responsibility, direct client contact and the chance to work on cross‑border matters for international companies, trade associations and governments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on EU and Belgian energy and environmental regulations to international clients.
• Maintain direct client interaction from day one and support business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Dentons’ global Energy teams and contribute to internal marketing programmes.
• Participate in training sessions and receive feedback from senior colleagues to develop legal and interpersonal skills.

Required profile

• Law degree with strong academic results; LLM preferred.
• Registered with the Brussels Bar or recently graduated.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, with working knowledge of French.
• Motivated to develop as a corporate advisor in an international, entrepreneurial environment.
