Artificial Intelligence Engineer

About the role

Leadout helps large international organisations bring clarity to complex IT and vendor ecosystems through software asset management, vendor management and IT cost optimisation. As its AI Engineer, you sit at the intersection of business and technology: you understand the outcomes delivered for clients, capture the expertise of specialists and build the AI solutions that speed up and improve how that work gets done.

Key responsibilities

• Use AI to accelerate and improve how the firm delivers results for its clients
• Map the firm's delivery methodology and turn it into agent-ready processes and knowledge structures
• Work with domain experts to capture their expertise in reusable AI assets such as skills, knowledge files and playbooks
• Design and build agentic workflows that automate data collection, analysis and reconciliation
• Run rapid experiments and spikes on real cases to prove what works
• Drive adoption of the AI capability across the team, from analysts to senior consultants

Required profile

• Degree in IT, Business, Engineering or a related field
• Experience building and deploying AI or agentic solutions in a real business environment
• Technically grounded: understands databases, APIs, data structures and developer tooling, even without being a classic software developer
• Thinks in business processes first, technology second, and can own the capability independently and earn trust with founders and domain experts
• Familiar with agent orchestration, context engineering or workflow automation (e.g. Claude, Copilot, LLM APIs)
• Fluent in written and spoken English in an international setting
