Application Architect – Secure Healthcare Solutions

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Application Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable software solutions for the healthcare sector. You will collaborate with business analysts, development teams and stakeholders to ensure that applications and integrations meet business goals, architectural standards and strict security requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain application architecture aligned with business and technical needs.
• Design solution architectures for new applications, services and system integrations.
• Guide development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with security, scalability and performance standards.
• Support implementation and migration of authentication and identity management solutions.
• Promote API‑first, microservices and integration best practices.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical governance and solution validation activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as an Application Architect, Solution Architect or Lead Developer.
• Strong background in software engineering and enterprise application design.
• Proven track record designing secure and scalable architectures in Agile environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to bridge business and technical perspectives and mentor teams.
