AP Accountant – Accounts Payable (Liège, Belgium)

About the role

Gaming1 is seeking an AP Accountant to support its accounting team in Liège. The role focuses on the purchase‑to‑pay (P2P) process, handling invoice recording, vendor management and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Record purchase invoices (PO and non‑PO) for Belgian and Spanish entities.
• Follow up on any issues linked to invoice booking, including vendor creation.
• Train and manage the OCR tool to automatically recognize invoice fields.
• Monitor the purchase mailbox and take the required actions.
• Ensure internal and external procedures are properly applied.
• Contribute to the continuous optimisation of the P2P process.
• Participate in ERP optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting or proven experience in a similar role.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related functions.
• Experience using an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365; knowledge of the Exflow module is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of VAT, purchase orders and P2P workflows; familiarity with analytical dimensions such as cost centres is a plus.
• Strong adherence to procedures and deadlines, critical thinking and stress resilience.
