Angular Frontend Developer – Digital Application Lifecycle

About the role

Our client, a public‑sector organization focused on security, is seeking an experienced Angular Frontend Developer to lead the design and delivery of modern web applications. You will own the full software development life‑cycle, from concept through deployment, while continuously improving existing platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new frontend applications using Angular and contemporary UI frameworks.
• Manage the end‑to‑end software development life‑cycle, ensuring smooth hand‑over to operations.
• Maintain and optimise existing frontend systems, applying evolutionary updates.
• Integrate frontend components with backend micro‑services and web services.
• Implement robust testing strategies to guarantee high‑quality releases.
• Apply UX/UI best practices to enhance user interaction and visual design.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience, primarily with Angular.
• 3+ years using GitLab for version control and lifecycle management.
• 3+ years working with micro‑services and web‑service architectures.
• 3+ years experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• 3+ years hands‑on UX/UI design and implementation.
• Possession of a Top Secret security clearance.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with knowledge of the other national language, and proficient in English.
