Android Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join a fast‑growing mobility technology company in Hasselt. You will help build high‑quality mobile applications that support sustainable and renewable mobility solutions, working within a collaborative engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver modern mobile experiences.
• Contribute to software architecture decisions and ensure scalability, reliability and maintainability.
• Improve performance, conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Support the continuous evolution of the company’s mobility platform and related products.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience in Android development.
• Solid knowledge of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with good understanding of Java.
• Versatile software engineering background, familiar with architecture, design patterns and testing.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with CI/CD pipelines in an Agile environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative setting.
