AI Consultant

About the role

As an AI Consultant at Capgemini Invent you will work at the forefront of generative AI, helping clients turn ideas into production‑ready solutions. You will identify high‑impact use cases, embed AI‑driven ways of working and guide senior stakeholders through strategy and implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize and scope AI use cases that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Embed generative‑AI tools, reusable prompts, agents and workflows into project delivery to accelerate research, analysis and deliverable production.
• Co‑design end‑to‑end AI solutions with data engineers, ML engineers and business owners, from problem framing to architecture.
• Advise clients on LLM adoption, prompt design, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and integration of AI agents into existing workflows.
• Assess AI readiness across data, technology and organization and produce transformation roadmaps.
• Translate complex AI concepts into clear recommendations for C‑level and operational audiences and support change management.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience applying AI or machine‑learning techniques in a business context.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Comfort with fast‑moving, multidisciplinary project teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with generative AI models such as GPT‑4, Claude or Gemini.
• Proficiency in prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and agentic AI frameworks.
• Familiarity with tools like Claude Chat, Claude Code and Cowork for research and delivery.
• Understanding of core machine‑learning concepts (classification, regression, anomaly detection) and ability to evaluate predictive use cases.
