Accounting Manager – Walloon Brabant Region

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the full accounting cycle for an international organization operating in Belgium and France. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will ensure accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and local GAAP while managing a cross‑border accounting team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, payroll, and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and invoicing processes.
• Perform month‑end and year‑end closings in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts, balance‑sheet analyses and monthly explanations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, VAT and Intrastat declarations.
• Handle corporate tax matters with external advisors.
• Support intercompany reconciliations and group consolidation activities.
• Drive optimisation of financial processes and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Belgian/French GAAP.
• Proven experience in a managerial accounting role.
• Analytical mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English; Dutch and French are a plus.
