Accountant – Marine Finance (EMEA)

About the role

Join Brunswick’s Marine division as an Accountant responsible for the BME set of books across EMEA entities. You will ensure accurate, timely accounting, reporting and compliance while supporting business performance and financial governance.

Key responsibilities

• Book supplier invoices, follow up variances and ensure proper approvals.
• Maintain fixed‑asset modules, record monthly depreciation and manage asset invoices.
• Monitor intercompany balances, prepare group reporting packages and load reporting files.
• Prepare summary balance‑sheet and P&L statements and complete monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for EMEA entities.
• Execute month‑end closing tasks, including accruals, G/L entries, clearing accounts and expense approvals.
• Re‑invoice expenses to group companies and send intercompany confirmations.
• Reconcile accounts, respond to internal/external auditors, tax, treasury and FP&A queries.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis and support to local management and corporate teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3‑5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
• Basic understanding of US GAAP and experience in a multi‑company setting.
