Accountant – Finance Department (Boom)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our fast‑growing B2B services company in Boom. You will become part of a five‑person finance team and will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks while enjoying a high degree of autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Book purchase and sales invoices and record bank statement transactions.
• Reconcile invoices with the appropriate purchase orders.
• Prepare and execute vendor payments.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly VAT returns.
• Support month‑end closing activities.
• Serve as the main contact for external stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; basic knowledge of French.
